Description

This is a very beautiful Victorian era hand blown Glass covered ice bucket / large squat jar which has raised enamel flower decorations and a gilt bird.

There is a light peachy pink graduated background and an applied glass handle on the lid. The raised enamel flowers feature a purple and pink flowers spilling from a basket.

There is a gilt edge on the jar collar, as well as gilt highlights on the flower basket and bird which is carrying a ribbon in its beak. The pontil mark on the jar base is well polished.

It is in great antique condition, and is approx 25cm tall and 15cm in diameter.
